One of my favorite clients, Vinny was a model on the West Toronto Veterinary Surgery clinic website. He loves rocking the mohawk and a beard and walks with a little 'tude after his grooms. This sweet little guy is full of personality with a hair cut to match! I wanted to share these photos of the handsome little man who has won so many hearts! Thank you to Mom and the West Toronto Veterinary Surgery clinic for their permission to use and share these photos with you.

Chai is already well known in the neighborhood! You can usually find her hanging out at Pet Valu at the Galleria Mall. Chai was featured in Pet Valu's magazine 'Companion' modelling winter jackets in the Winter Issue 2014. She came in for a quick tidy up just for this special moment! She's always looking beautiful and is one of the sweetest pups around. She is  a natural model when it comes to taking pictures. Thank you to Pet Valu along with Mom and Dad for their permission for me to use and share this photo with you.

Dee'Tails Dog Grooming is a member of the Ontario Dog Groomers Association. Every year the ODGA runs a Rescue Rodeo at the All About Pets Show which is a small grooming competition where any level of groomers are allowed to participate. Groomers come from all parts of Ontario and the dogs that participate in the rodeo come from various rescue organizations in Ontario. It is a great way to get a little taste of how grooming competitions are run and it was all done for a great cause!

The year that I participated, the pet network was there with their cameras video taping the entire show - from beginning to end. My nerves were on edge just participating in the rodeo but the cameras definitely made it an experience to remember.

The dog I got was named "Cherry" and she was from the Standard Poodle Rescue. I was lucky and unlucky - Cherry was a small dog with very little hair. Boy was i happy when i got a small dog (intimidation factor because it was my first competition). It was good because there wasn't a heap load of hair but at the same time there was so little that i didn't have much to work with. I have to admit, for the majority of the time i just cuddled with Cherry <3

I didn't place but i had a blast and will forever cherish the memory of Cherry and the experience I had.
